Never was this more true than my wedding. I can’t say that I am surprised by all the wonderfully willing, and warm people who came out to the various events to show us their support, but I was surprised by who didn’t. There were people I never imagined getting married without… people I thought would show in some way or another that they were with me, who didn’t. And guess what? That is okay with me!
